Calapan Ventures to become holding company, expands capital
CALAPAN Ventures, Inc. (CVI), a water utility, is expanding its capital base as part of its transformation into an investment holding firm, the company said in a statement attached to a disclosure to the stock exchange.
In a meeting on June 9, the company's board approved a change in the articles of incorporation to increase Calapan's authorized capital stock to P500 million divided into 500 million shares, from P200 million divided into 200 million shares.

Calapan City — Calapan Ventures Inc. chairman Jolly Ting said its subsidiary has been tapped by Metro Agoo Water Inc. in La Union to complete the utility service of the locality.
“We’ve proven in this province how to harness, produce and supply water for domestic, municipal, agricultural, industrial, commercial or recreational purposes,” he told Manila Standard, noting that Calapan Waterworks Inc. set up in 2006 the Tabuk Water system in Kalinga, Cordillera Administrative Region.
