CALAPAN Ventures Inc. (CVI) hopes to provide clean water to 19 million Filipinos in rural areas as it negotiates for a partnership or merger agreement with similar water utilities, including Maynilad Water Services Inc. According to CVI chair Jolly Ting, the company remains focused on its plans to expand the reach of subsidiary Calapan Waterworks Corp. to far-flung areas nationwide, and make CWWC the water provider of choice for midsize cities and municipalities.
